Breda Game City is currently seeking multiple Board Members who will play a pivotal role in expanding our videogame network, providing valuable insights on the sector. 

As an ambassador for our organization, you will have the opportunity to broaden our reach, support our activities, and contribute to the strategic growth and sustainability of our goals set in our 4 year ‘’Toegepaste Technologie & Creativiteit’’ grant by the Gemeente Breda. 

Key areas of focus for this position include:

Expertise in the videogame sector: Understand its economic, creative and social values, preferably on a local (Breda) level. 

Ambassadorship and Network Expansion: Act as a representative and advocate for videogames and mediate between makers, entrepreneurs, professionals and their needs and opportunities. Have a presence at our regularly scheduled events and meetings. 

Expertise and leadership in broad stakeholder management: Understand political as well as commercial interests and lobby/advocate between different stakeholders on a variety of topics and levels and provide leadership and guidance where necessary. 

This position is unpaid and we ask for a commitment of at least 4 hours per week. 

We put an emphasis on local knowledge and expertise and we prefer somebody living in the West-Brabant region. Board communication is in English, but speaking Dutch is an advantage for some external events.
